Private content
All plans can read private sources, including websites behind a login, GitHub repositories, Confluence spaces and videos, using saved credentials. Add credentials to your team, then select them for each source that needs access.
For source-specific access, see GitHub repositories, Confluence, YouTube and Vimeo.
Websites with a login
- Open Team > Credentials > Add credentials > Web login.
- Enter a name and the site’s Login URL, Username or email and Password.
- Open Advanced options for different form fields or redirects. Enable Username and password on separate screens if the site asks for them on separate screens. For separate sign-ins, enable Use multiple login steps, then click Add login step.
- Click Save credentials.
- In your project’s Settings > Sources, add a URL, sitemap or OpenAPI URL. Open Advanced options and select the saved Credentials (optional).
- Click Save, then Refresh sources.
Control access to your assistant
Saved credentials let Biel.ai read a source. Its content becomes available to anyone who can use your assistant.
Private projects restrict assistant and API access to authenticated requests and require Business or a higher plan. To make a project private, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Access Control and enable Require authentication for all API access. Adding a private source does not change this setting.
See Credentials to manage credentials and access. For VPN access or a login flow that needs custom setup, contact [email protected].
