Biel.ai offers a range of AI models designed to enhance user interactions with your documentation site. These models provide different levels of performance, speed, and sophistication, enabling you to select the best fit for your needs.

Available models

Biel.ai supports the following models:

GPT models

  • GPT-4o Mini (default): Optimized for speed and efficiency.
  • GPT-4: Advanced capabilities for detailed and complex queries.
  • GPT-4.1-nano: Lightweight version optimized for maximum speed and efficiency.
  • GPT-4.1-mini: Enhanced version optimized for speed and efficiency.
  • GPT-4.1: Latest version with advanced capabilities for detailed and complex queries.

Claude models

  • Claude 3.5 Haiku: Fast and effective for general documentation.
  • Claude 3.5 Sonnet: Designed for nuanced, context-rich answers.
  • Claude 3.7 Sonnet: Latest version designed for nuanced, context-rich answers.

Models are categorized based on their primary characteristics:

Fast models

  • GPT-4o mini

Changing the model

Only users with the Administrator or Maintainer role can manage projects. For more details, see Manage roles.

Follow these steps to change the AI model used in your Biel.ai project:

  1. Log in to your Biel.ai account and navigate to your dashboard.
  2. Select your project from the list of available projects.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Find LLM settings.
  5. Under the Select model, choose the AI model you want to use from the dropdown menu.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

Your chatbot will now use the selected model to respond to user queries.

Data Privacy

Biel.ai prioritizes your data privacy. By default, your chatbot interactions are opted out of training programs, ensuring that your data is not used to train or improve third-party AI models. This guarantees the confidentiality of your documentation and user interactions.
